What is Sports Massage?

Sports massage is a form of massage which can benefit those who engage in regular physical activity, have tight muscles, and/or preparing for a sporting event. It involves manipulation of soft tissue, which includes skin, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia (a form of connective tissue that lines and encapsulates the other soft tissue).

Sports massage is a great technique to assist in correcting any imbalances, tension, and/or tightness in soft tissue that have developed as a result of repetitive and strenuous physical activity and trauma.

Sports massage can play an important role in anyone's life: an athlete or non-athelete, wheter they are injured or not.
