Keziah Betts

Keziah earned her Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Brunel, West London in 2018. She is a licensed Occupational Therapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi. Additionally, she holds membership with the Royal College of Occupational Therapy.

With four years of experience in the United Kingdom, Keziah will be joining our team in Abu Dhabi. Her previous work involved serving as a paediatric Occupational Therapist across various settings, including special needs schools, mainstream schools, clinics, and home-based. She has worked alongside school staff to implement support for all children to enhance their participation as well as targeted group work and specialist 1:1 intervention and advice.


Keziah has completed training in Occupational Performance Coaching. She has also completed other courses, some of which includes, sensory processing, postural management, upper limb rehabilitation, sensory-based feeding difficulties, and handwriting.

Keziah has worked with children ranging from 0 to 19 years of age. She has supported children with various physical, neurological, and developmental diagnoses, as well as those without diagnoses who are facing challenges in participating in their everyday activities. 

 

Some of the conditions she has experience with include:

  • Down Syndrome and other genetic conditions/ learning disabilities

  • Autistic Spectrum Disorder (including those with PDA profile)

  • ADHD

  • Developmental Coordination Disorder 

  • Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities

  • Cerebral palsy and other neurological/ physical conditions 

  • Spinal muscular atrophy and other degenerative conditions

  • Arthrogryposis

Keziah is passionate about enabling children to achieve independence in their daily activities and coaching those working with the child, to support the child’s development.
