Sophie is a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with over 15 years experience in public and private settings in the UK and UAE.  Sophie blends her passion for human anatomy in providing practical and therapeutic support for people to achieve their optimal physical health.

Sophie relocated to Abu Dhabi in 2013 from the UK to start the Physiotherapy Department at Exeter Medical Centre. During this time she created a holistic treatment centre, with a team of medical professionals to manage common Orthopaedic and Rheumatological conditions.

 

In 2015 she joined Yas Physiotherapy Center where she continued to build on her skills in treating orthopaedic conditions in workplace related/ergonomic pains, pregnancy related pain, incontinence, scoliosis, and sports injury. 

A University of Birmingham (UK) graduate, Sophie completed three years of postgraduate rotations in London. Here she gained experience in Orthopaedics (trauma and elective), Musculoskeletal, Respiratory (including Intensive Care Unit), Community/Care of the elderly and Neurology.

She has undertaken post-graduate study in areas such as Women’s health, spine and pelvis, the shoulder, exercise prescription, tendinopathy, Dry needling and Acupuncture to name a few.
