Brian Reilly

Brian is an enthusiastic musculoskeletal physiotherapist from Scotland with 8 years clinical experience within the UK’s NHS, private practice, British armed forces and elite sporting academies

Working in a variety of settings Brian has developed skills to deal with common injuries, workplace and postural pains, orthopaedic conditions, post-operative protocols and more sports-specific complaints.

During treatment, Brian opts for specialist manual therapy techniques to aid pain management before using conditioning exercise to encourage the injured site to improve its capacity to deal with the demands of life whilst ultimately empowering the patient.

After previously playing a variety of competitive sports and having an understanding of strength and conditioning, Brian is a very proactive rehabber. Brian practices what he preaches when as he is currently training in triathlon specialties, using mobility, flexibility and S+C principles to improve performance.

Raving Reviews

"Brian helped me recover from meniscus damage in my knee and a tight ankle. I am a keen marathon runner so was desperate to get out on the road again. I've been to many physios over the years and probably rushed back to full training and racing too soon! With Brian he clearly laid out a recovery plan through detailed strength and conditioning exercises over a period of several weeks/months and gave me targets for maximum training. It worked, I'm running. I would also say is Brain is a thoroughly decent chap and really knows his stuff. I enjoyed our sessions as i always felt as though i had achieved something and always learned something knew. A real gain for Abu Dhabi sports and a loss to Dubai!"

"I cannot thank Brian enough. I'm 13 and in August 2019 I tore all the ligaments in my left ankle, and chipped a bone. This is a permanent injury but by January 2020 I was discharged from physio with a strong and capable ankle! Brian was incredible and he taught me how to regain movement, power, flexibility and balance in my ankle. He challenged me right from the beginning, always pushing me (and motivating!) but remaining aware of my wellbeing. He also made physio extremely fun - so much so it became the most anticipated activity of my week."
